SOS Virtual Celebrity Chef Dinner and 50th Anniversary Celebration
THE SOS CELEBRITY CHEF DINNER is a fundraising event to benefit Share Our Selves and the many services we provide to meet the basic needs of the homeless and low-income individuals and families living in Orange County. This year we are also celebrating 50 years of caring for our neighbors in need.
Out of an abundance of caution, we have canceled this year’s in-person event, but will hold a virtual event as well as an online auction. With your support, we can make this Celebrity Chef Dinner a huge success.
The event proceeds support the SOS Social Services Department, which provides food and resources such as rental and utilities assistance, behavioral health, case management and seasonal programs.
Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, these services are more crucial to our community than ever. Many of the financial protections put in place to help people through the crisis will end as the economy reopens. In order to restore the well-being of Orange County, those living in poverty, the homeless, and those who have lost their jobs will need the support of organizations like SOS to secure or maintain housing, food stability, and mental health.
