This event is at capacity. Thank you for your interest!
THE SOS FAMILY SERVICE NIGHT is a chance for your family to kick off the holiday season together by working on projects that will help our homeless neighbors and teach our kids about the challenges they face. Geared towards families with children elementary school age or younger, this night is a unique opportunity to introduce your little philanthropists to issues of hunger and homelessness in our community in a way that’s relatable and easy to understand.
Hands-on Projects and Learning Opportunities Such As:
- Assembling hygiene kits
- Making blankets
- Creating cards with uplifting messages for our clients
- Packing bags of groceries for the SOS Food Pantry
A donation of travel-sized hygiene items valued at $20 is requested for participation. Soap, lotion, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, and socks are among our most needed items. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Dinner will be provided.
