As we all know, in the past few weeks, Orange County has been slowly emerging from quarantine. The state of California has moved well into Phase 3 of our re-opening plan and many have already begun to return to work or enjoy the ability to dine at their favorite restaurants. With this increase in activity, we here at Share Our Selves (SOS) wanted to keep you informed about important information that can help us all remain healthy and safe as we enter this new phase together.
It is important to note that COVID-19 is not only still present, but should be viewed as an ongoing concern. We know that many are finding it difficult to find information related to the coronavirus that is trustworthy and valid. Different sources and news outlets provide very different pieces of information, and navigating fact from fiction can be tricky. We at SOS wish to directly provide you with the data, facts, and recommendations that we are seeing on the front lines at our facilities and from our colleagues in the health sector. With 50 years of service in Orange County, your well-being is our mission.
We are all excited for life to start returning to some semblance of normal. We all want our leadership to make decisions that balance the best interests of our public health with that of our local economy. As we’re being given such an opportunity, it is up to all of us to do our part to maintain as low-COVID an environment as possible, adhering to recommendations on social distancing and mask usage while in public. We hope that in transparently sharing our findings, we can all work to keep our community healthy and safe.
We’ll have more to share in the coming weeks. In the meantime, be mindful of those who share this community with us. Our well-being is a shared responsibility. Stay healthy. Stay safe. Be well.
