Seasonal Programs

Share Our Selves offers seasonal programs to assist struggling Orange County families throughout the year. Our seasonal programs are primarily organized and run by volunteers and supported by community members, businesses, schools, religious organizations, and community services groups.

Back to School

Every August, with a team of over 200 volunteers, SOS distributes backpacks filled with school supplies to local students. In 2011, 2,513 students benefited from this program.

Adopt A Family

Since its inception, SOS has been linking generous community members with families in need of extra support during the holidays. This wonderful holiday tradition embraces approximately 1,400 struggling Orange County families by providing gifts and food for the holidays.
