Did you know that with your support in 2015, SOS provided over 4,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to Orange County students? Join us this year to help kids start the 2016 school year prepared and ready to learn!
SOS recognizes that to a child a new backpack brings confidence and provides them with the right tools for success in school.
The happy faces of children receiving backpacks from SOS speak for themselves. You, too, can help SOS empower children to be the leaders of the future! Every gift makes a difference in the life of a child. Let’s make this our best year ever!
Back to School Underwriting
|$25 will provide 5 children with new backpacks|
|$50 will provide 10 children with new backpacks|
|$100 will provide 20 children with new backpacks|
|$250 will provide 50 children with new backpacks|
|$500 will provide 100 children with new backpacks|

Get FREE admission and one (1) free carnival ride per person on Wednesday, August 10th at the OC Fair! Just donate NEW school supplies valued at $5 or more (receipt required) to the SOS Back to School Program! Accepted items include pens, pencils, crayons, notebooks, notebook paper and school backpacks. Click here to learn more about this program.
Acceptance of donated items is at the discretion of the OC Fair. Promotion is limited to one free admission and one free carnival ride per person. Guest must be present with donation to receive free ticket.

You are invited to join SOS as we celebrate the 26th Annual SOS Celebrity Chef Dinner! The event highlights a group of outstanding local chefs who are committed to providing food and services for the vulnerable populations in Orange County. The dinner features five exquisite courses paired with specialty wines, a silent auction, and a live auction in which the chefs offer exciting one-of-a kind dining packages.
Proceeds from the event benefit the SOS Food Pantry and Comprehensive Service Center, which provides food and needed services such as rental and utilities assistance, transportation, and seasonal programs for low income individuals and families.
Our online auction will run from October 1-24th, at www.biddingforgood.com/shareourselves. We are currently looking for donations of merchandise, in-kind donations or gift certificates to include in the online auction and/or at the dinner. Our online auction will reach a local and national audience of bidders through the SOS and Bidding for Good communities.
