22nd Annual Back to School Program

Help us prepare kids for academic success!

Did you know that with your support in 2016, SOS provided over 4,300 backpacks filled with school supplies to Orange County students? Join us this year to help kids start the 2017 school year prepared and ready to learn! SOS recognizes that to a child a new backpack brings confidence and provides them with the right tools for success in school.

The happy faces of children receiving backpacks from SOS speak for themselves. You, too, can help SOS empower children to be the leaders of the future! Let’s make this our best year ever!

You are invited to join SOS as we celebrate the 27th Annual SOS Celebrity Chef Dinner – A Toast on the Coast! The event highlights a group of outstanding local chefs who are committed to providing food and services for the vulnerable populations in Orange County.

Exciting changes are being made this year! The event will feature a more casual format, a beautiful new venue with an indoor/outdoor feel and incredible ocean view, and more exposure for all of our incredible chefs and restaurants. Our revamped event will begin with an outdoor reception under twinkling market lights, featuring hors d’oeuvres stations and wine tastings. Guests will be seated in the ballroom for the entrée and dessert during the live auction and program.

Proceeds from the event benefit the SOS Food Pantry and Comprehensive Service Center, which provides food and needed services such as rental and utilities assistance, transportation, and seasonal programs for low income individuals and families.
